Which outdoor event flooring can be laid on grass and uneven ground?
Outdoor event flooring has to cope with changing weather while remaining slip-resistant in wet conditions. An open, water-permeable structure allows rainwater to soak into the ground or run off following the slope, so the surface dries quickly afterwards. The tiles can be laid without a substructure directly onto a firm base such as grass, gravel, paving or asphalt. Their elasticity also allows them to follow slight undulations in the ground.
WARCO event tiles are made from PU-bound rubber granules and are intended for year-round outdoor use. Rain passes through the tiles to the ground below, while the surface remains slip-resistant in damp conditions. Resistance to UV exposure and frost permits outdoor use during prolonged rain, snow and changing seasons. The elastic tiles cushion footfall, reduce wear on the area beneath and remain stable without screws or adhesive.
The modular tiles suit temporary use. After the event they can be lifted with little disturbance to the base, rinsed with water and left to dry. They can then be stored compactly in a dry place and laid out again at the next outdoor event.
