Which laying patterns can be used for rubber tiles?
The available laying patterns depend on the tile type and joining system. Options include a straight grid, also known as a chequerboard pattern, a diagonal pattern at a 45 degree angle, a half bond pattern with each row offset by half the tile length, and a random bond.
Tiles without a joining system can be laid in any of these patterns. Tiles joined with connectors are laid in a half bond pattern. Tiles with puzzle joints or concealed puzzle joints are mainly laid in straight grid or diagonal patterns. Some ranges can also be laid with an offset of half or one third of the tile length.
The stability of the finished surface is determined not by the laying pattern, but by the tile connections and correct installation.
