The sports court tile from WARCO creates a continuous-looking surface for multi-use games areas, basketball courts, tennis courts and informal play zones. The structured, all-weather surface supports reliable ball response across the court without disruption from visible joints or uneven transitions. The surface remains consistent under changing conditions and provides secure footing during fast directional movements. Suitable for schools, public facilities, sports clubs and private outdoor courts.
Simple installation
The tiles are laid loose on a level, load-bearing base without permanent fixing. A precision jigsaw interlock keeps the elements securely connected and forms a hairline joint that is barely visible across the playing area. Cuts can be made using a jigsaw or circular saw. Individual tiles can be lifted and replaced at any time without affecting the surrounding surface.
Consistent play surface
The finely structured surface supports controlled ball bounce and predictable movement patterns. The surface allows dynamic play sequences while reducing disruptive transitions across the court. Water drains evenly through the open structure, so the surface remains playable shortly after rainfall. When installed on a permeable sub-base, no additional slope is required.
Single layer or system build-up
The tiles can be installed as a single layer or combined in a sandwich construction with Functional Tiles XX. Depending on thickness, format and density, the surface behaviour can be adjusted to suit the intended use. The layered system distributes loads across the structure and maintains a uniform surface over time.
Two-layer construction
The tile consists of a wear layer made from UV-stable EPDM rubber granulate and a base layer made from ELT rubber granules derived from recycled tyres. The upper layer defines the surface texture and colour stability, while the base layer provides load distribution and impact behaviour within the system.
