Which training and sports activities are rubber granulate fitness flooring suitable for?
There is no single fitness flooring that suits every type of training. Depending on the activity, tile thickness, elasticity and cushioning need to differ. Flooring for cardio training has different requirements from flooring used for free weights or strength training.
For cardio, group classes and resistance machines, the tiles should be at least 1 cm thick. Functional training benefits from greater vibration damping, while free weights and strength areas are better served by thicker fitness tiles that cushion the impact of dropped weights and help protect the subfloor.
Rubber granulate fitness tiles are slip-resistant, impact absorbing, vibration damping and easy to clean. They help reduce impact noise and are installed as a floating floor without adhesive, making it easy to replace individual tiles if needed.
