The rubber granulate, i.e. granulated rubber comes into existence when rubber slabs or pieces are cut up or minced to irregularly formed small parts. Generally, the rubber granulate is sorted by the grain-size curves that differ from each other in the quantitative rate of different fractions, i.e. in the rate of granules with different maximum edge lengths. The grain-size curve co-determines the physical properties of the raw material of the preform made of the PU bound rubber granulate.
The rubber granulate as bulk good is used e.g. for filling the punchbags. As a raw material, the rubber granulate can be used with binding agents to design mullion and wall connections at the site or do come small-area repair works.
