ALLESDICHT – Waterproofing Coating is a ready-to-use liquid membrane for reliable moisture protection in both interior and exterior applications. Applied directly from the tub using a brush, roller, trowel or airless spray system, it cures to form a seamless and elastic barrier. It offers long-term protection against rising damp and water ingress – ideal for both refurbishment and new construction.
Applications and compatible substrates
Typical areas of use include flat roofs, balconies, terraces, basement walls, floor slabs, junctions and pipe penetrations – especially in locations exposed to moisture. ALLESDICHT adheres strongly to concrete, bitumen, brick, wood, metal, fibre cement, ceramic tiles and well-adhered existing coatings – even on slightly damp substrates.
Simple and safe application
The coating has a smooth, honey-like consistency and is applied in 2 to 3 coats. Each wet layer should not exceed 1.5 mm; the final dry membrane should be 2–3 mm thick. Average consumption is approx. 3.3 kg/m². The product is solvent-free, water-dilutable, pH-neutral and non-irritant – suitable even for confined spaces. Application is recommended at ambient temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C. In critical areas, a reinforcement mesh can be embedded between layers.
Certified quality and fire classification
ALLESDICHT is certified to DIN 18533 for use in structural waterproofing and meets fire classification B2 according to DIN 4102-1. It is suitable for contact with standing or pressurised water. Available in black, grey or red, in tubs of 3 kg, 11 kg or 25 kg.

The number of tiles required can be determined in two ways: by calculation or with the digital laying planner.
For the calculation method, the area is measured in length and width (in cm). Both values are divided by the effective dimensions of a tile and rounded up to the next whole number. The two rounded results are then multiplied together – the outcome is the minimum number of tiles needed. For irregular areas, a laying plan drawn to scale on graph paper is recommended.
A quicker approach is the online laying planner, which is available for every WARCO product in the web shop. After entering the area dimensions, the tool automatically calculates the tile requirement and displays a suitable laying pattern. Waterproofing a terrace provides long-term protection for the building structure beneath against penetrating water. The key is to apply the waterproofing beneath the finished floor covering, directly onto a sound, clean substrate, and to ensure adequate falls for reliable drainage.
ALLESDICHT is applied as a liquid-applied membrane directly to the prepared substrate, such as concrete, screed, existing tiles or bitumen. Its main advantage on terraces is the seamless, crack-bridging rubber skin, which also seals junctions to the house wall, door threshold and drains without joints – areas where sheet membranes often have weak points.
Apply ALLESDICHT in at least three coats. According to the test certificate, the required dry-film thickness is at least 3 mm; where water exposure is greater, for example where water may pond temporarily, a dry-film thickness of at least 4 mm is required. With this build-up, the elastic waterproofing membrane bridges cracks in the substrate up to 0.5 mm wide.
Once the waterproofing has dried completely, the chosen terrace finish – rubber tiles, ceramic tiles or an additional coating – can be installed directly onto the waterproofed surface.
ALLESDICHT is ready to use and only needs thorough stirring before application. Depending on the area, it can be applied by brush, roller, trowel or airless spray. It adheres to almost all common building substrates, including concrete, wood, bitumen, tiles and metal. The substrate must be sound, clean, dry and free from dust, oil and grease, while strongly absorbent surfaces should first be primed.
Apply ALLESDICHT in two or three coats, allowing each coat to dry before the next is applied. Each wet coat must not exceed 1.5 mm, producing a cured rubber skin at least 2–3 mm thick. Reinforcement fabric should be embedded at joints and penetrations. Once fully cured, ALLESDICHT forms an elastic, watertight rubber skin with more than 200% elongation that follows normal movement of the substrate.
For reliable waterproofing, the cured ALLESDICHT rubber skin should be at least 2 to 3 mm thick. As the coating loses about one third of its thickness while drying, a 1.5 mm wet coat cures to roughly 1 mm. This means the total wet application should be about 3.0 to 4.5 mm.
That thickness is normally built up in two, three or more passes, with each wet coat no thicker than 1.5 mm and each pass applied wet on dry. The exact number of passes depends on the structural requirements, the substrate and the ambient conditions. Additional coats can also be sensible around joints and penetrations.
