From old tyres to new paving
The VG interlocking pavers by WARCO are made from finely ground rubber derived from end-of-life tyres (ELT granulate).
The ELT granulate is mixed with polyurethane as a binder. Under high pressure, the mixture forms a paver with impressive performance characteristics.

For decades, rubber pavers have been used in automated horse walkers because they protect sensitive fetlock joints during movement and keep hoof marks easy to maintain.
Installation: As straightforward as usual

Excavate the topsoil approx. 20–40 cm deep, create a slope, level the base and compact it using a vibrating plate if needed.

Build in a crushed stone base layer (10–30 cm) with a slope of approx. 1.5% and compact thoroughly.

If required: set kerbstones with concrete backing support.

Apply a 5 cm thick bedding layer of chippings with slope and level it carefully.

Lay the interlocking pavers row by row without joints. Use a guide string for alignment. Trim and fit starter and edge stones as needed.
