Frequently asked questions

Which contractor should install WARCO floor coverings?

The choice of contractor depends on where the WARCO floor coverings will be laid and how much preparation the substrate needs. There is no need for a certified installer or approved partner firm; any suitable local builder or specialist contractor can do the work.

The type of project will usually guide the choice. Landscaping contractors, groundworks firms and contractors specialising in road and footpath construction can handle patios, garden paths, playgrounds and other outdoor areas. For balconies and roof terraces, roofers, carpenters, joiners and metalwork contractors are more suitable. Flooring installers, property maintenance firms and experienced multi-trade contractors often handle simpler installations. Some of these firms regularly sell and install WARCO floor coverings and take responsibility for the work themselves.

A tiler is another option, provided they have experience laying rubber tiles. The methods used to lay ceramic tiles cannot simply be applied to tiles made from rubber granules.

Whatever the trade, installers should follow the product-specific installation instructions on the WARCO website when laying the tiles. Any work involving the substrate, waterproofing or drainage should be carried out by a contractor qualified in the relevant trade.
