On-site measurement service for tile quantity calculation?

WARCO does not offer an on-site measurement service, but customers can generally take the measurements themselves without difficulty. The actual dimensions are required for tile quantity calculation. A tape measure is sufficient: record all side lengths and any required diagonal measurements, so that the geometry can also be established where sides do not meet at right angles. Record projections, posts, floor drains, doors and gates as well, and note every measurement in centimetres.

These measurements can be entered into the WARCO laying planner available for every product in the online shop. This online planning tool allows customers to create the installation plan themselves, calculates the required number of tiles and offers different starting points for installation. It generates the plan as PDF and DXF files; the DXF file can be processed further in CAD programs. A hand-drawn sketch is therefore unnecessary, and the installation plan provides a reliable basis for the order.

For certain product ranges, where tiles are cut from unbevelled blanks, WARCO can use the DXF file to supply a ready-to-lay tile pattern comprising whole tiles and the required cut pieces. Where the measurements are correct, the floor covering can be installed according to the installation plan without further cutting.
