Is direct delivery to the construction site possible?

Direct delivery to the construction site is possible where the delivery address can be reached by lorry. The delivery of goods is carried out by a haulage company.

Consignments weighing no more than 2,500 kg are delivered by a local delivery lorry and unloaded using its tail lift. Deliveries above 2,500 kg are generally made by long-haul lorry; in this case, the recipient must unload the vehicle. Unloading is preferably carried out via a ramp using a forklift truck or wheel loader.

Possible delivery locations include new housing developments, pedestrian zones, hiking huts, allotments, sports and leisure facilities, outdoor stables and model aircraft sites. If the construction site itself cannot be accessed, WARCO will agree a nearby alternative unloading point with you in advance, provided that it can be reached by lorry.

At the agreed delivery or unloading point, the customer or an authorised representative must accept the consignment in person and sign for receipt.
