Frequently asked questions

How long does a waterproofing layer made with ALLESDICHT remain watertight?

When applied correctly, ALLESDICHT forms a permanent waterproof seal and remains functional for many years. Its service life depends on the conditions at the site, as mechanical loading, UV exposure, temperature changes and the condition of the substrate all influence how quickly a waterproofing layer ages.

The key to long-term performance is the elasticity of the rubber skin. With an elongation of more than 200%, it accommodates structural movement and thermal expansion while bridging fine cracks in the substrate, where rigid waterproofing systems often fail. The rubber skin also remains watertight even under standing water. To achieve its full service life, the specified coat thickness must be applied and the substrate must be properly prepared.
