How are products made from rubber granules disposed of?

Products made from rubber granules have different disposal routes: offcuts from rubber safety matting and other rubber granule slabs may be disposed of with household waste during installation. Products made from PU-bound rubber granules are inert in landfill, while their high calorific value makes them a useful fuel for waste incineration.

Larger quantities of rubber granule slabs can be taken to a local recycling centre. After normal use, they can often be reused as building protection mats. Used, uncontaminated WARCO rubber slabs may generally be returned for material recovery by prior arrangement, provided that they are delivered to the recipient free of charge.
