The rubber kerbstone, also known as deep kerb, is used to surround the surfaces and paths located on an unbound base course with some rubber granulate tiles. They draw a line between the surfaces and prevent the plates or paving from drifting apart. The elastic deep kerbstone can mark the endlines of the beach volleyball pitch.

As with rubber granule tiles, the rubber kerbstone is pleasant to the touch, absorbs vibrations and provides fall protection. It is water permeable over its entire surface and open to diffusion.

As a rule, the rubber kerbstone is installed in a concrete foundation with a back support at the height of the bordered surface. Only the top part of the flexible kerbstone is visible. Straight or curved lines can be constructed.

When do I need a curb?

A curb, also known as a border stone, is used when creating paths and paved areas on an unbound subbase. It is necessary when laying interlocking pavers or tiles with clip connectors.

Additionally, the curb serves as an effective edging solution, for instance, to define garden beds or to frame a beach volleyball court.

The curb is installed vertically into a concrete foundation with a back support in the ground, with at least 65% of it embedded below the surface. Its elastic properties allow for both straight and curved installations.

How is the ordered merchandise packaged and shipped?

Goods ready for despatch are packed to ensure cost effective and safe transport. Smaller orders are sent by parcel post - up to five parcels can be sent, with a maximum weight of 29kg per parcel.

Items are generally packed on disposable pallets. We use three types of pallet: quarter pallets, half pallets and industrial pallets. The items in your order are stacked on the appropriate pallet and wrapped in stretch film. Depending on the type of pallet, the goods ordered and the destination country, a pallet can weigh up to 1200kg. Please note that pallets will not be returned and will remain with the recipient.

Pallet shipments are handled by carriers. For shipments weighing up to 2500kg, unloading from the lorry is usually included in the price. For heavier shipments, the recipient is usually responsible for unloading (using a forklift, front-end loader or ramp). Alternative arrangements can be made if required.
